Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

Las Exitosas Group's story

This group is currently in its first cycle and is fully occupied with the business of integration and distribution of work. In addition to the members’ independent occupations, the group wants to organize communal work in order to have a communal fund for committee emergencies.

Mrs. Marta S. is a good representative. She is 50 years old and has 9 children. She sells corn, fruit and vegetables in the San Antonio district. Every afternoon she goes out to sell along with her children.

She is a very courageous woman and she enjoys what she does. She is grateful for the help that the Foundation brings her by granting her a loan.

She has a small house that she would like to expand and consequently works with a lot of determination.

She is soliciting the loan in order to buy fruit and vegetables.
