A loan helped to buy chicken.

Katherine Alexandra's story

Katherine Alexandra is 40 years old, lives with her partner and has 3 children. Her partner is a merchant and they live in Pajan, a place of working people dedicated to farm work; a place that was very affected by the health emergency caused by Covid 19. She is a struggling woman who, along with her partner, looks for a way to move forward in spite of how difficult everything is with the pandemic.

They sell chickens either whole or by the pound; she buys the animals from a nearby farm and then slaughters them and sells them outside her house at a table she sets for this work. This situation has been very hard for her as, because of the fear, the sold almost nothing. Now they are selling more again, but always following the best safety measures.

This loan is to buy chickens. She hopes that this pandemic ends and everything will go back to how it was before.
