A loan helped a member to buy goats to resell in order to support the family's needs.

Benkadi Group's story

Salimata is the person holding the goat in the photo. She is 49 years old, married and the mother of six children: 2 girls and 4 boys. One of the girls and two of the boys attend school. Their ages range from 8 to 21 years old. Her courageous husband helps her in her business activities.

For the past seven years, Salimata has farmed sheep and stored grains. She borrows from RMCR to reinforce her financial capital in order to improve the state of her business activities and to support the children's needs. She tames and sells her animals at local fairs.

Salimata hopes to raise many animals in the coming days and to increase her savings for the well-being and success of her children attending school.
