Mrs. Keom Ry H. is the group leader who has been selected by four people located in Reang Chuor village, in Kandal province. All of the members are making up a group loan and they will use a small portion of the loan for different purposes. Mrs. Keom Ry H. is 43 years old. Her position is a coffee seller at a local village. Her husband, Mr. Rorn TH., is a farmer who a owns two-hectare plot of land to grow crops to sell to support his family. Her problem is that her husband’s field is far away from an irrigation system and it has infertile soil too. So, to improve production, Mrs. Keom Ry H. is applying for a loan to buy gasoline and fertilizer. She is a mother of three children, one of whom is helping her husband to do farming, while the others are attending a local public school.
