A loan of $900 helped bUYING MATERIALS TO EXPAND MERCHANDISE IN HER HARDWARE BUSINESS.

Rosa's story

Rosa, 55 years old, is a very hard-working mother of a family and she lives in her own house with her husband and their 3 children. Five years ago she had to close her hardware store due to the excessive cost of taxes that didn't allow compensation for her sales.

At present, she sells by means of requests (with delivery). Following order lists, she prepares materials for sale (for home solutions) and distributes them personally. Her buyers are her old customers who know her for the quality of her products, and if she has the opportunity to capture more buyers, she loses no time in doing so.

When Rosa closed her business she felt much nostalgia, but with this present type of sales, she feels more comfortable. She has now been selling by request for 4 years. Her greatest hope is to expand the business and care for her health, since she once fell ill and it complicated matters.

This is the 8th loan Rosa has had with MFP, and she knows that credit is important to augment working capital. For that reason, she is committed to making all her payments on time. Rosa tries to be very responsible and collaborative with her work group. She plans to invest the present loan in purchasing more hardware items to fulfill pending orders.
