A loan of $1,150 helped to buy stock items for her store.

Alba Lilian's story

Alba Lilian Q. F., 43, lives in San Agustín, Usulután department, in the west of the country. She is a very hard-working woman who must make her best effort daily in order to get ahead in life with her three children who are 18, 8 and 4 years of age; they have always depended on her for a proper life.

Alba has a grocery store that she operates from her home in which she stocks a variety of products like: bread, sweets, soft-drinks, etc.

Her greatest wish is to increase sales so she is asking for funding that will allow her to reach this goal because it’s the only way she can count on having enough funds to invest in the business and buy all the products she needs to stock in order to meet customer demand, which is high because she’s located in an area where there is a lot of daily foot traffic-a clear advantage for Alba that she expects to take full advantage of because having more stock available will entice the passersby to stop and buy from her.

This fills Alba with great hopes because she will have greater economic stability with which to fulfill all her children’s needs.
