Divino Niño Jesus Group's story

This committee called Divino Niño Jesus is in its eighth loan cycle in the women's committee program. All of them have their businesses through which they generate income to help their families.

One of them is Dominga, who makes and sells sweet pastries. She mentions that she starts her work early every day and then goes out to sell as a street vendor. She is a hardworking person who fights for a better quality of life for her loved ones so they don't suffer any hardships. She says that, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, her business has been affected, but she is striving to rise above and get it going again.

Dominga is requesting this loan to buy ingredients to make her pastries, like flour, eggs, lard, sugar, and other products. She is grateful for the opportunity to join the group and, through it, continue improving as she has been doing.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo because of restrictions on gatherings of people due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
