A loan helped to restock her shop to boost sales.

Evelyne's story

Evelyne is a married woman from Koranorya, Mbarara. She runs a small-scale retail shop in her rural area.

Her shop sales are too low since her stock is limited and the shop offering does not meet her customers' needs. She intends to grow her incomes but this has to be done through adding variety of stock in the shop so that she can attract more customers and gain their favor. Since Evelyne is short in capital, she has approached Ugafode. Through funding from Kiva, she can restock her shop and meet her set target for the year.

She hopes for the best outcome as she is new to banking but has heard good stories about Kiva funding.
