A loan helped a member to buy one bag of cassava flour, which will strengthen her starting capital.

Tusimame Group's story

Aminatha is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and is the president of the village group "Tusimame". She is 20 years old, married and has one child who is still a baby. Her husband is a painter.

Aminatha sells food products. She started this activity in 2017 with starting funds received from her husband. She later joined the Hekima program to support her business, and it grew progressively. With this loan, she is going to buy one bag of cassava flour, which will strengthen her capital. The challenge of her occupation is due to the lack of customers.

She would like to support her family financially. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to non bankable business owners in this context of global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo only shows the group leader due to social distancing measures.

In this group: Justine, Francine, Balingene, Ange, Maisha, Ally, Mwalungwe, Aminatha, Dorcas, Lembe, Bulonza, Yvone, Yvone, Aimerance, Helene
