Mrs. Song S. is 58 years old and is a villager who lives in Preal village in Takeo province. She and her husband, Mr. Bo Kun, are farmers who own 1.5 hectare of land where they cultivate rice for a living. Aside from being a farmer, Mr. Bo Kun is also an agriculture laborer, who earns a small revenue to support his family.

For this farm, Mrs. Song S. decided to ask for a loan to purchase a plowing machine to support her farming.

The couple has five children; one is a laborer and one is a seamstress in a garment factory while the other three are students and also help their parents with farming.
