Zipporah's story

Greatness is part of Zipporah (pictured above). She is a hardworking woman who has always believed that she has all that it takes to be successful. She is 25 years old and has farmed for the past five years. Through farming, she has been able to support her child.

The Covid-19 pandemic has posed a significant threat on the economy of Kenya, causing a lot of uncertainties and disrupting food supply chains. Juhudi Kilimo in partnership with Kiva, are on the front line in combating the effects of this pandemic through supporting smallholder farmers and micro-entrepreneurs during this difficult period.
