Katiereton Ii Group's story

The members of the group KATIERETON II are married men averaging 48 years of age and six children living for the most part in polygamous families in Nimprodioula, one of the villages of the community of Sikasso (3rd administrative region of the Republic of Mali). The members are collaborating with the micro-finance institution Soro Yiriwaso in order to carry out their farm work during the winter. They are on their second collaboration with the institution. The past loan has been repaid.

The plantings cultivated by this group of men are generally corn, per KALIFA SIBIRI D.. With this new loan, he plans on buying some supplies (manure and herbicide) and sundry farm items for maintaining the fields. The produce is sold in the village and at the Sikasso market after the harvests. His customer base is composed of women and men.

Mr. D. plans on making an average profit of 90,000 francs CFA per planting. He wishes to maintain his collaboration with Soro Yiriwaso. His ambition is to build a residential house.
