A loan helped a member buy and sell live hens and chickens.

Santa Fe Ocaña Group's story

Rosa Estela continues with her role as group leader. For many years, she has been selling live hens, chicken by the pound, and tomatoes. She dreams of reaching her dream of having a poulterer in her community and having many sales. In this way, she will help her husband raise their children and give them better opportunities in life, and enable them to go to school, learn to read and write and become professionals in the future. The loans have supported Rosa Estela well because she managed to purchase what she proposed. She is very happy because the end-of-the-year holidays are approaching, and the sales of chicken and hens is very good. Despite the pandemic, her sales have improved. She is requesting a new loan to continue buying live hens and chicken by the pound to be able to continue working.
