48-year old Sra. Mirtha is a hardworking woman. She is married and has a son whom she still supports as he is a student. Mirtha runs a small general store which she started several years ago with savings brought back from Costa Rico where she had had to go to find work as the economic situation at home was very bad.

Now she feels more stable as she has her own business. She and her husband work in the office of the store to provide a better service to their customers. In addition Mirtha does the housework and cooking at home.

With this loan she will buy a refrigerated display case so she can buy more chicken products, meat, and cold cuts. At the moment she only has Coca Cola fridges, and the company will only allow her to use them for their own products. Therefore it is important that she has a new refrigerated area so she can increase sales of these everyday products.
