A loan helped to invest in the purchase of some four washing machines, hoses, tools, spare parts, and maintenance.

Juan Carlos's story

Juan Carlos is a micro-entrepreneur of 42 years of age. He lives in the municipality of Campo de la Cruz. This entrepreneur is a father and the head of his household. He has a little daughter of 5 years of age.

With great effort, dedication, and strength, he opened his business of renting washing machines. Thanks to capital that he had saved, Juan bought three washing machines and offered them for rent to his neighbors, relatives, and people from the sector. With this he established a loyal clientele because of his efficiency and the good service that he offers. He himself delivers them and collects them on a motorcycle. This businessman does maintenance on his washing machines, and thanks to his excellent administration, his business plan has grown. Now he has 20 washing machines, with which he has positioned himself in the sector.

His sales have been affected because of the pandemic, and with them, his income. But thanks to the economic reactivation, his applications for service are increasing. Because of this, he seeks to mitigate the impact of COVID-19, and he is now applying for a Kiva loan, the first financing that he has had from Fundación Santo Domingo, to invest in the purchase of some four washing machines, hoses, tools, spare parts, and maintenance.

This businessman needs an injection of capital to strengthen his business unit. Juan thinks that the key to his business is in tending to the requests of his customers in a timely manner in order to have better productivity and an increase in his income.

Help him with his loan! It will be a success.
