A loan of $475 helped buying more items such as sheets, bags, etc.

Jean Didier's story

This young man, 35, married and the father of three children sells bags (handbags, school bags, suitcases) and sandals for men and women. His business is going well and his challenges are finding rare and stylish items. Over the course of the year, during school vacations, when children go back to school, and during the holidays at the end of the year, he makes lots of sales, sometimes amounting to 100,000 F per day. Since 2002 he has been in this business and he has been raising his three daughters, insuring their continued schooling. He hopes to leave them a good inheritance by having various sales points. He would like to be an importer so as to make more profit and become a wholesaler.

If he receives this loan he will buy a lot more and, with respect to his competitors, he will have better prices so he can attract customers. He is respected at home and at the market by those who have seen him grow, as he is very ambitious and wants to do even more to change his present status.
