A loan helped to support her home-based clothes business with more clothes.

Hanan's story

Hanan is a 41-year-old married Syrian woman and a mother of 4 kids. Her husband works as a freelancer but the money he makes is not enough to cover the family’s basic needs, especially as they have been going through a lot of difficulties since the day they left their country due to the Syrian crisis, and due to the bad economic conditions in Jordan.

To help her family, Hanan decided to start her own home-based clothes selling business, and so she did. Now she needs to support her business with more clothes but she lacks the financial ability, so she decided to ask for a 500 JOD loan to buy new clothes to support her business.

She hopes that she can keep supporting her family and have a brighter future, and continue with her education especially since she earned her master’s degree before they left Syria.

This loan is special because:

It gives opportunity to Syrian refugees who have fled the war in Syria.
