A loan helped a member to buy meat, canned goods, condiments, vegetables, eggs, and other products.

Kuña Pariri Group's story

This committee is in the poverty elimination program. Each member has a modest business which she uses to help her family and is looking for ways to keep it going.

Maria is one of the members of this group. She works selling food that she prepares herself. She says that as President of the group she looks for ways to be helpful to the other members of her committee. She works hard and makes sacrifices in order to make a living and wants to be able to give her family everything they need so they don't have to suffer hardship like she did.

She is requesting this loan to buy ingredients to prepare her meals, such as meat, canned goods, condiments, vegetables, eggs, and other products. This will allow her to keep making food.

Note: This is a group loan even though only one person appears in the photo. In order to comply with Covid-19 restrictions regarding large gatherings, no group photo was taken.
