A loan helped to maintain and establish parcels of vegetable crops.

America Yahoska's story

América, age 34, is the mother of two children, and she is passionate about agriculture. She raises vegetables. She has benefited from a loan from Kiva, together with MICrédito, which she used for the purchase of seeds, agricultural supplies, and organic compost, and to pay workers for labor. She is very grateful, because she was able to have good crops.

She has opted for a new loan from Kiva, together with MiCrédito, to maintain and establish the parcels of vegetable crops, and she hopes in this way to improve her harvest and be able to have better sales.

Her goal for the future is to buy a new parcel of land.

Translated from Spanish by Kiva volunteer Pam McMurry.

This loan is special because:

The repayments are aligned with harvest season.
