A loan helped a member to buy cows and sheep to raise for resale.

Benkadi Group's story

Djenebou is a 45-year-old Malian who has 6 children. She has been raising livestock for 10 years as an income-generating activity with her husband who takes care of the cows and sheep. She partnered with RMCR to expand her business. She is pictured with a cow in the photo.

The credits obtained through RMCR are used to buy livestock (cows and sheep), which she gets in the village and sells locally. She can generate profits of at least 50,000CFA per cycle, which allows her to cover the cost of her children's healthcare, education, food and clothing. She has had no issues with her RMCR/Kiva loans as she has the full collaboration of the veterinary service which offers good suggestions and advice.

She is preoccupied by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Djenebou wishes to get more financing to provide her children with work opportunitues.
