A loan helped to buy the inputs necessary for growing potatoes.

Florette's story

Florette, age 40, is married with six children. She has been farming potatoes for 20 years. Her family owns arable land, and Florette has gradually been expanding its cultivable surface to achieve higher yields. She delivers her produce to collectors.

Florette would like to save up money to buy a number of zebus in the future. Motivated by this goal, she began taking out loans with Vahatra to further develop her potato farm. She will use this loan to buy seeds and fertilizer.

Florette hopes for lender support.
