A loan helped to buy clothing and shoes.

Maria Yesenia's story

Maria is 43 years old, married and has 3 children of age. Her husband works selling coffee, and they live in Manta, one of the most important cities in terms of commerce and tourism in the coast of Ecuador, but that has been highly affected by the pandemic.

Maria is an enterprising woman who makes an effort every day to support her husband with the household expenses. For this reason, she’s had a business for the past 3 years selling clothing and shoes. She rents a shop located in a profitable area, but when the quarantine started she had to close for a while. After 4 months she started selling from her house to continue generating incomes. She is now back in her shop, and for this reason she is requesting a new loan to reactivate her business.

The money will be used to buy clothing and shoes. Her dreams are to see her business progress again and being able to have her own shop.
