A loan helped to buy a banana tube, taro roots, a wheelbarrow, water tank, hand gloves, rake, shovel, and chemicals.

Siapo's story

Siapo is a 19-year-old lady. She operates a business selling bananas and taro in her community to earn a living. She has been doing this for more than two years.

Siapo requested a loan to buy a banana tube, taro roots, a wheelbarrow, water tank, hand gloves, rake, shovel, and chemicals to assist her in running the business. She joined SPBD in 2019, and hopes to use her business profit to expand her business.

This loan is special because:

It provides women with credit in a country where alternative financing is extremely scarce.
