A loan of $525 helped purchase sacks of rice.

Nicolas's story

Nicolas is 51 years old, married, and has two children who are in school. He and his family live in Zaña, a district known on a regional level for its Afro-Peruvian customs. This area is located 45 minutes away from the city of Chiclayo.

Nicolas has been buying and selling rice for a year. He purchases sacks of rice from the mills in the city of Chiclayo and then sells them to grocery stores and businesses in the city of Cajamarca. This type of business is very profitable in Cajamarca because it is located in a mountainous area of the country where everyday consumer products are not readily available. At the moment, this business is his only source of income, so Nicolas invests all of his efforts into maintaining it.

Nicolas has become well-known in the area and more people are requesting his product. For this reason, he wants to buy more sacks of rice so that he can increase his sales. To meet this goal, Nicolas is requesting his first loan from Edpyme Alternativa in the amount of 1500 PEN.

Nicolas is a father who is dedicated to his work and his family. His neighbors consider him to be a peaceful and responsible person. His greatest wish is to provide his children with a quality education.
