A loan of $775 helped working capital.

Maria Eugenia's story

Maria is 54 years old and has been running a general store for more than five years. She began her small business in order to be able to generate some income for her family. She didn't have much money, so she needed a way to invest her money into food products that she could sell to her neighbors. Little by little she improved her store. She continues to work at it, even though she does not have many items. She sells rice, sugar, and cooking oil. She will use the money from this loan to buy more food items for her store, in order to be able to keep her customers. Maria hopes to grow her business.
