A loan of $350 helped to buy potato and pea seeds.

Yolanda's story

Yolanda is a loving and happy 45 year-old mother. She is a homeowner and lives with her 55 year-old husband, Florencio, and her 2 beloved daughters whom she wishes to provide for a brighter future.

Yolanda and her husband work hard in their vegetable garden to keep their crops well maintained, and therefore the products are bought quickly on the days they are sold. Their main source of income is the sale of potatoes and peas. These are the highest quality crops they can offer for daily consumption.

Yolanda feels her work is paying off when she harvests her land, as such, this is her favorite part of the job. She has been doing this work for 30 years and considers the most difficult task is to be preventing her crops from being damage by pests. Eventually, she plans to buy more land to expand her crops.

This is her fourth loan with MFP. She always pays on time and has never had any issues with her lending group, where she is in charge of adding the share of joy that keeps the other members happy.

Yolanda is requesting 1,000 PEN to buy potato and pea seeds to plant this season.
