A loan of $700 helped materials and supplies.

José Fernando's story

José is 54 years old, is married and has two children. He lives with his family in the La Florida district, a district located in the northern mountain range of the country. It is part of the San Miguel province in the Cajamarca region, located more than two hours from the city of Chiclayo, the capital of the Lambayeque region.

He has been manufacturing doors and furniture for ten years and has a shop in his home where he does his work. It is there where he manufactures furniture to order and also makes some on his own, so that he can sell it at the main markets within his zone. This is a family business and his brother also works this trade. Together they work to get ahead.

José would like to expand his business and make more furniture in order to have more to sell in the markets and increase his income. He has requested this loan of 2,000 PEN ($700) through Edpyme Alternativa in order to help reach his goal. He will use the money to buy lumber.

José is a very responsible father who works hard to help his children get ahead. His greatest desire is to continue to grow as an entrepreneur in order to improve his family’s quality of life. He is known in his zone for his honesty and ability to deliver.
