A loan helped to purchase the ACE One energy system in order to have access to solar power for lighting, charging and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Soum's story

Soum is a 30-year-old man who lives in a traditional hut with access to electricity, with three other family members. Soum works as a painter but struggles with wood and energy expenses. He spends a total of USD 23 on all of his fuel and electricity expenses. Soum bought the ACE One cookstove to help his family save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE One clean cookstove is biomass- and solar-powered. For more information on the ACE One cookstove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy.
