A loan of $1,800 helps a member to sell rice.

09_Gpf Les Lionnes De Fanaye Group's story

This group of five women came together in September 2020. They share the same business sectors such as trade and livestock farming. This is what pushed them to form themselves into a group so that they would have easy access to banking.

Aissa, who has her hand raised in the photo, is the group's representative. She is a 19-year-old married woman and the mom of a 5-year-old boy and a 6-month-old girl. She sells rice and has two years of experience in this business.

She will use this loan to buy a large stock of rice that she will then retail. With the profits to be earned, the client hopes to buy herself a plot of residential land.

In this group: Aissa Gallo, Niawe Bocar, Hawa , Aminata, Kardiata Pouna
