A loan helped to increase her stock of Orange transfer money.

Pascaline's story

Mireille is a 37 year old married woman and the mother of 2 children. She has been a merchant in her area for 1 year. She opened a little kiosk where she facilitates money transfers.

Her business is doing well, but she is often stuck when her virtual money runs out because of the small amount of her capital. This means that she has to use up her funds before being able to replenish them again.

That is why she is requesting this loan. It will allow her to not only increase her capital, but also to better satisfy her customers, to increase her turnover and her earnings. These earnings will allow her to support her family’s needs and also to increase her business.

Translated from French by Kiva volunteer Bonnie Zaleski.

This loan is special because:

It gives poor business owners in Cameroon the capital to grow their businesses.
