A loan helped a member to buy farming tools and hire labor for weeding.

Oyam Agro Cooperative Group's story

Betty, a 35-year-old female, lives in Kamdini and is married with four children who all attend school. She grows beans, sunflowers, peas and also brews alcohol for additional income. Her husband is a butcher and sells goat meat.

She is requesting a loan from VisionFund Uganda to buy farming tools and also hire labor for weeding. She expects to get much yield after weeding and she plans to use income from the harvest to take care of her children's basic needs and also support her husband in paying school fees for their children. Her dream is to start exporting her harvest to big off takers.

She requests Kiva to continue with the support.
