A loan helped to buy used objects to resell.

Hajatiana's story

Hajatiana is a 41-year-old woman. She is divorced and raises her child alone. She lives in a rural village, where she collects and sells used objects to earn money. She goes from door to door to recover used objects such as audio-visual equipment, scrap iron and many other things to resell. She finds her business quite profitable.

For several years she has been taking out loans with Vahatra and has benefitd from loans of increasing amounts. She was able to develop her business and currently also has savings, enabling her to meet her own needs and those of her child. She needs this loan to restock and obtain more goods to sell. She hopes for the lenders' support and intends to keep pursuing the expansion of her business.
