Jose Antonio
José is a hard-working man. He works shifts - and sometimes double shifts - as a cleaner. He has been doing this for several years, and he has one son. His wife takes in laundry and ironing to help with household expenses, which have gone up recently. José's greatest wish is to finish his house. With an earlier loan, he finished building a room. He now needs to plaster the walls, paint, and tile the floor. What he will do first, however, is change the roof, which is in a poor condition and really needs improvement.

His plan for the long term is to be able to work full time and earn more, so he can save up to complete his home improvements. He is pleased with what he has achieved up to now on his limited resources.
