These brave women seized the opportunity of joining the Banc Villageois that was set up in their area in June 2007. They belong to the same community and share solid values of sharing and support. They have benefited from several loans that have been reimbursed until now without difficulty.

Viriginie Ngoné , 60 years old, is the representative on the far right of the photo. She is married and the mother of seven daughters one of whom is still in school. Virginie Ngoné is a dynamic woman who manages a small business selling lettuce. She buys her stock from the market gardeners and runs her business in her neighborhood from her home. She has several years’ experience in this business.

She plans to buy a large quantity of lettuce that she will be able to sell easily in spite of the competition because she is well known in her neighborhood.

Her income will allow her to increase her savings and cover her various expenses.
