Julius's story

Julius K. N. is 60 years old and married. His wife is a farmer and they have six children. He runs a livestock business in Mwingi and goes to market every workday to sell cows, goats and hides. He has been in this business for two years and says his major challenge is transport of livestock to market. In addition to livestock, he also raises cereal crops such as millet, sorghum and maize. Julius has applied for a loan of Kes 15,000 to expand his business by buying more livestock to sell. In the future, he hopes to buy a vehicle to make it easier to transport his animals to market. He is hardworking, patient, humble and very friendly.
