A loan helped to buy the necessary ingredients for her dishes.

Noéline's story

Noéline is a courageous and active 41-year-old woman. She is a widow and has three dependent children. She runs a food stand in the market. She serves rice with accompaniment, soup, and fried foods. She also practices pig farming to boost income. The family still lives in the family home and Noéline plans to build one for herself and her children. She resolved to expand her activities to increase income so that she could build up savings for this project. She takes loans to boost her capital and she chose to join Vahatra. The previous loan was used in pig farming. She devoted her profits as capital for her business. The following loan will help her continue to expand her tavern. She will buy the necessary ingredients for her dishes including 20 Kg of potatoes, 20 Kg of carrots, 22 Kg of pork and 17 Kg of beef as well as other ingredients. She will be able to serve more customers. She hopes to collect enough profit to increase her savings.
