A loan helped to buy a pig and feed.

Claudeste's story

Claudeste, 46, is married. He has nine children with his wife and three of them are independent. He owns a house in the village where the family resides. He has been involved in pig breeding for the past ten years. He also performs daily chores to boost income. He is a borrower with Vahatra. Taking loans allows him to have capital to gradually expand farming. He absolutely wants to increase his income to better meet the needs of his family and to carry out major projects. He acquired land with the profits from the previous loan. The following loan is important for him to buy a pig to fatten and 250 kg of feed for his feed. He delivers his products to the butcher's shop in their village. He plans to buy more land when he has amassed enough savings.
