A loan helped to buy organic agricultural supplies and wages.

Diana Lorena's story

Diana is 30 years old. She is a native of Colombia. She is a single mother and has one small son.

Diana lives in the sector of La Esperanza, a rural community in the province of Carchi in Ecuador. She earns a living farming foods and doing day labor.

The father of her son doesn't help her, so the financial burden falls on her shoulders.

The main difficulty Diana is facing is a lack of capital to purchase organic agricultural supplies to finish growing onions.

She is seeking a loan to buy soil amendments, fertilizers, and daily wages to have a good harvest in the future.

With her earnings, Diana will continue increasing the size of her crops, and she'll be able to keep giving her son an education.
