Kolopa's story

Kolopa is 70 years old, with eight children. She operates a business of selling banana and taro in her community to earn a living. Her older children help her with the business. She has been doing this for more than six years.

Kolopa requested a loan to buy a banana tube, taro roots, wheelbarrow, water tank, hand gloves, rake, shovel, chemicals to assist her to run the business. She joined SPBD in 2009, and hopes to use her business profit to expand her business.
