Mrs. Touch Thun Village Bank Group's story

This village bank loan is made up of seventeen people who live in Pean Meas Kaeut village in TaK. province. They will each use their share of the loan for different purposes in order to improve their businesses. Mrs. Touch T. was selected by the other members of her group as their village bank president.

Mrs. Touch T. is a farmer who owns a plot of land to cultivate rice that she sells to support her family. Her husband, Mr. Neng Bech, owns a rice mill at their home and also works as a construction worker.

This couple works hard, but they earn a very small income on which to support their family. So to improve their family's living conditions, Mrs. Touch T. is asking for a loan to buy some piglets to breed in order to start a new business. Through this activity, they hope to support their five children, all of whom attend local public school.
