A loan helped a member to buy marble, chairs, tables, etc.

Amigas De Jesús San Juan De Limay Group's story

Escarleth is 35 years old and the single mother of a son. She is a merchant and artisan.

She has been selling food and fried products for fifteen years. She started her business with the help of members of her family and has become well known in her neighbourhood. Some companies look to her to make them meals on request.

She also works making handicrafts in marble stone, a business in which she also has quite a few clients.

With the previous loan, she was able to buy raw materials to make her crafts and she was able to make improvements to the place where she serves food.

She is once again applying for a loan with Fundenuse and Kiva to buy raw materials to make her crafts and to buy furniture for the place where she sells her food.

She belongs to the solidarity group "Friends of Jesus San Juan de Limay" together with Maria and Narcisa.

In this group: Escarleth, Maria, Narcisa

Translated from Spanish by Kiva volunteer E. Power.

This loan is special because:
