Chan's story

Chan S., 45, is married and resides with her husband and a child in Cambodia, in an area known for pre-Angkorean temples.

S. is a farmer and grows rice for an income of about USD $1 per day. Her husband raises ducks for eggs to sell, earning an income of USD $14 per day.

S. is requesting a loan of USD $1000 to purchase more ducks to raise for eggs. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to repair the house. This is her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
