A loan helped to buy fabric, thread, needles, buttons, zippers, etc.

Aidee Edit's story

Aidee is a 73-year-old entrepreneur. She is a resident of the city of Barranquilla. She has a clothing business which she has had for more than three years. She started her business with capital given to her by her husband. With this, she was able to purchase a sewing machine for her first clothes. Everyone in the neighborhood knows her and they are her customers. In her quest to mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and boost her economic reactivation, she joined the “Barranquilla responde” program to request a Kiva loan through La Fundación Santo Domingo. The resources will be invested in the purchase of fabric, thread, needles, buttons, zippers, etc. Support her on her loan, it will be a success.

Translated from Spanish by Kiva volunteer Lauren Jackson.
