A loan of $3,900 helps a member to buy fabrics.

04_Fcdl Group's story

Since its creation in December 2008, this group is made up of strong and dynamic women. Their principle activity is business and cattle fattening.

Claire, the representative of the group, standing on the right with a hand raised, is their representative. She is 42 years old, mother of three children, of which two are boys. She is in the ready to wear clothes selling business. She makes clothes from the fabrics she buys in her home town and the items are sold in the south of the country.

With this new loan, she will buy more fabrics, which she will sew, with the help of a tailor. She will then sell the finished products in the south of the country, where she has customers.

From the profits, she will deposit money as savings in to the 'banc villageois' and also buy some land.

In this group: Mariama, Madeleine, Claire Cecile, Helene Thialy, Odette, Rosalie Deite, Siga
