A loan of $1,975 helps to buy wood for the renovation of her old home.

Vat's story

Vat is a 58 year old married woman with 3 children from Takeo province, where she operates a farming business for her main income. Her spouse also works in farming. They help each other maintain healthier crops and increase their revenue upon harvest. Vat aims to expand her agribusiness and grows various kinds of seasonal crops such as vegetables, beans and corn. She wants to be more successful in her family-owned agribusinesses and earn a good income to meet her daily living needs. However, the way she does farming is still based on the traditional method.

At the moment, Vat's house is under construction and she needs more materials to have it finished. Due to a shortage of funds, she is asking for a loan to buy wood for the renovation of her old home. She hopes that through the help of the loan, she can provide everyone in her family with a suitable place to live and comfortable living conditions.

In the future, Vat aims to increase her farm land and open a small grocery store to earn additional income.

Vat sends thanks to all the lenders for helping poor fellow people like her to improve her family's economic condition.
