A loan of $1,325 helps to buy flour and meat, and to make local changes.

Rocio Del Carmen's story

Rocio Del Carmen is a 53-year-old micro-entrepreneur living in Barranquilla. Her business is the preparation of snacks and she has more than 7 years of experience and operating in this work. She offers local delicacies such as empanadas, quibbe, arepas, deditos and others.

Her business was born due to her desire to start a job that generates an income from home and allows her to share time with her family. Her clients are schools, events, neighbours and family.

Due to the Covid -19 pandemic that occurred worldwide, her level of work deteriorated due to biosafety issues and her cash flow decreased dramatically. For this reason she got in contact with the Barranquilla Responde Program, led by the chamber of commerce. She wanted to request her first loan with the Santo Domingo Foundation in order to buy meat and flour, and to make local changes.

Please support this loan for her business.
