A loan of $1,350 helps to grow rice and sell fruit juice and ice-cream.

Sandjinding's story

Sandjinding, who is 45 years old, has been a member of the Banc Villageois since it was set up in November 2006. She is active in retail business, and her activity has enabled her to improve her living conditions. She is married and mother to three children. She also has another child to support.

She has good experience in business, and with her new loan is planning to buy monkey bread, bissap (hibiscus) and sugar, so she can make fruit juices, since she has a fridge. She also makes ice-cream and grows rice with her husband. The profits she makes will be used to boost her business.
