08-Karantaba Koto Group's story

This group of fifteen women is part of the banc villageois created in September 2013. They all live in the same village. They are dynamic and all share a common goal of improving their standards of living through small business. Their good relationship with one another explains their enthusiasm and ties of solidarity.

Mrs Awanding, 33 years old, is the group's representative. She is married and the mother of three children. She has eight other children she also cares for.

She has a strong background in small business. Her new loan will allow her to purchase vegetables and engage in poultry farming. She plans to help her husband with the family's expenses with the profits which will be earned from the proceeds of this loan.
