08-Karantaba Koto Group's story

The "banc villageois" was created in September 2013. It brings together this group of 21 women who live in the same village. They are dynamic and have good relationships. They are all engaged in retail sales which is the principle source of their income. Diarra is 32 and the representative of the group. She is married and mother of four children. She has one other in her charge. With her new loan, she plans to buy some shoes and some cashew nuts to sell retail. Once she has earned some profits, she will use them to boost her savings and to help her husband take care of the children.
