A loan of $4,775 helps a member to buy carpentry machines to expand her pools and increase the number of fish she is raising.

Arwimayo Group's story

Sonia is the president and leader of the Arwimayo ACPD (Pro-Development Communal Association). They are going into their second cycle and are considered to be an enterprising group with a great desire to get ahead. The communal association has nine members; in the photograph, you can observe the representatives, president, treasurer, and secretary.

For the last three years, Sonia has made a living by selling tropical fish like pacu and tilapia. She has a fish farm where she raises and feeds the fish.

At this time she is asking for a loan to buy carpentry machines to expand her pools and increase the number of fish she is raising. In the future she'd like to open a tourist facility.

Sonia is considered an enterprising, persistent, and mature person who wants to get ahead with her partner, who makes a living in ground transportation. She is a secondary school teacher as well.

In this group: David, Sonia, Roy Roby, Nolberto, Bladimir, Yesica, Irene, Danny Raul, Marcelino
